Hi, everebody!
Any information about GC conditions for analysis of benzoic acid anhydride will be greatly appreciated.

I have not measured it but precalculation gives Kovats Index values of Io: 1738 dI: 2.255
This in turn gives you on an unpolar column (SE 30, HP-1 , or equivalent) (polarity 30)) an index Isp: 1803 . Or if you are using a polar column (DB 1701 (pol. 163)) Isp: 2145. Regular column 30 m (velocity 33 cm/min) Oventemp. 100C, pit 5 Min, rise 10C/min, max 280 C. Retentiontime between 15 and 21 min respectively. Feel free to let me know how it turned out.

I used to analyse benzoic acide anhydride. It works well with a DB5 (It was on this column) 0.22 dia, 0.2 film thicknes. inj 240, dect 240. Oven program 60 to 240 5°C/min. It wasn't special for this compound but It works well.
MR Schnorbus is more scientist than I, I can't tell you the retention time from the kovats index.
The only thing is to take care of benzoic acide (if you got some in the sample), which got a bad chromatographic answer.
hope to help you
