My samples are wine.
I am working on HPLC with RI detector and AMINEX HPX-87H column.
I find method for glycerol determination(JAOC, vol75, No.3, 1992), but I would like detecting 2,3-butanediol too.
Does someone know where I can find some information (application) about it.
Thanks for help

I'd call BioRad and ask if they have anything. Also check with Dionex and Hamilton, since they sell columns of similar chemistry.

If you don't need a previously validated method, you could just try injecting a standard and see what the elution time is.

Glycerine and butanediol are easily separated and quantitated by capillary gas chromatography after trimethylsilyl derivatization on non-polar phases.
