I was wondering if anyone can help out with this question. I'm using short lengths of capillary GC column as SPME tubes (as demonstrated by Pawliszyn et. al.). I'm interested in finding out the polarity and/or LogP values for common GC phases. Is there any way I can calculate this, knowing the chemistry of the phase? Is there a web site or reference book I should try to obtain, or does anyone actually have the figures to hand?
