Does any body have problem with atrazine responses problem? What I have observed was greater than 50% deviation within sequence of 12hrs (each run time is about 30mins). The standard was prepared in ACN and the concentration is 150ng/mL and the analyses was performed on GC/msd. (HP5970-msd-with HED capability) The calibration standard was gapped regularly of about 6 samples. The analytical column is a J&W db5-30m, .25mm Id and .25um film thickness and deactivated liner (low activity)was used for the inlet. The conditions for the GC as follows;
Inlet:250C. Splitless time of .5min. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Oven: initial@80C hold for a min than ramped @20C/min to180 and hold for 5min.

I am not quite sure if I understand correctly. Anyway, I suggest that you use internal standard. This will compensate for some instability of the detector. Variations in the response may also be due to matrix effects if you analyse dirty samples.

I understand that you have problem with injection of pure standard solutions.
Have you try to inject stadard AT solutions in ethylacetate? Level 200 ug/L AT in EtOAc; injection volumne 1 ul.
