Any help appreciated.

Look for Honeywell 'Smart GC'. It is a small selfcontained process gc which has a limited number of predefined applications. The detector, column and injector are all contained on a single module. The whole thing is about the size of a basket ball and can be mounted right at the process piping because it's designed for classified locations. It comes with a very limited sample system and is designed for gases only (the last time I looked), but I have used them and see much potential where the application is easy.

Tried MTI, now a division of HP? Also, Varian aquired a small portable GC along with Chrompack. Either can be rigged for a process application, but generally limited to non-hazardous locations.

If you need a small process GC for Natural Gas that is good for a Hazardous Area per the NEC, try ABB Totalflow or Daniel.

Fisher/Rosemount offers a "GC Transmitter" also good for hazardous areas which is small.
