are plunger in needle syringes suitable for on column injections? i ve come accross a few references that do not recommend this type of syringe for direct on column injection. However, I did not come accross any explanation. could somebody give me an explanation for this?

I have never tried this style, but I do know people who have and have experienced very short working life for the syringe.
