Carlos,
There are lots of options here ranging from static experiments using a container of acidic adsorbent solution to impinger methods using an acidic impinger solution to significantly more sophisticated air sampling equipment. Typically the ammonia is analyzed by Ion Chromatography but sometimes derivatization methods are also used (e.g. OPA derivatization and fluorescence detection). The real expert in this field is Sandy Dasgupta (sandy.dasgupta@ttu.edu). He has done a lot of work in this area and could be of help if you are interested in more sophisticated air sampling equipment. Can you tell me more about your specific requirements?
