I have a question about standard curves. In checking calculations for an internal standard method, it seems that the software calculates the regression line using the standard/internal standard ratio and the CALCULATED concentration of the standards. Is this correct, normal, etc. It would seem to me that there is a bit of circular logic involved in this.

Comments are greatly appreciated.
