I am currently having some difficulties in developing a method to determine the amylene content in methylene chloride, does any experienced users have any reference method eg.what suitable internal standard have to be added and operating parameters?
Thanks alot in advance!

Supelcowax 10 capillary 30m 0.32mm ID 1µm catalog # 24211

40°C (50 or 60°C) split or splitless 30cm/sec flow rate

internal standard n-octane or nonane

amylenes (C5s) elute much before methylene chloride (about C11)

no reference just experience!
