I am in the market to purchase a purge and trap system to add onto an Agilent 6890/5972 GCMS system. I am considering Tekmar-Dohrmann and OI; I was wondering if actual users or experts could contribute their views as to the better all-around system.

They both will work for all standard methods. My experience is that the OI unit is superior in some respects in terms of water management and inertness, but the support when problems occurs is much better from Tekmar.
