We are considering using hydrogen as a carrier gas and wonder if there are any special precautions that should be used Do we need any special attachments to our carrier gas inlets, etc? Or can we just hook it up as we would helium or nitrogen.

Talk to your GC supplier about the do's and the don't about using Hydrogen carrier gas.

They should know the requirements and have the parts you might need.
