I currently have a DB5 equivalent capillary column
(30m x 0.25mm id x 0.25um) and I want to try a 0.10mm id column for "faster" chromatography.

Can anyone suggest a suitable starting point - in terms of dimensions and ramp rates etc?

I run at 1ml/min Helium 70 - 300degC at 4degC/min.
My injector is suitable and I use a FID.
Injection 0.1 - 0.2uL at 200:1.
(Hydrogen as a carrier is not an option!)

Has anyone had experiences / problems in translating methods across?
