Hi,
I normally work with LC system, and we have developed a system qualification procedure for our systems that performs all the tests automaticaly.
Now the question is: What parameters should be tested for GC system qualification?
Is it possible to do the qualification automaticaly? And if so, are there some references or persons to discuss with?

Look at your GC manual for the section on setup and confirmation of proper operation.
You will see a test mix and test conditions, usually a paraffin in hexane or the like on a 2ft column which then gives a certain response (FID or TCD) or a aromatic in hexane (ECD OR PID).
There is also a test for the splitter if you have one.
Use these conditions and tests and confirm the GC works as originally delivered.

But don't you have to prove linearity, system precision, accuracy, ...?
These are the parameters I test for LC, but I don't know this for GC.
Are there some references (plz online)?
