The Adjust Offset feature of the Agilent 6890 NPD causes overheating of the bead and very short lifetime. Adjust Offset is easily turned off in manual operation, but with Chem Station automatic control of the 6890, NPD Adjust Offset is activated before each run. Does anyone know how to turn off this Chem Station activation of the Adjust Offset?

You should deactivate in method the adjust offset option...
