Hello-

I am running Haloacetic Acids (EPA 552.2) on a DB-5 column, and I am having trouble separating the analyte trichloroacetic acid from the internal standard of 1,2,3-trichloropropane.

Can anyone recommend a temperature program that would help separate these two compounds? As of now, the two are right on top of the other and cannot be resolved.

I have changed temperature changes, ramps and hold times in the program, but nothing yet has worked to resolve this.

Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated.
