Hi.

I was wondering if any of you have knowledge about the effects of radiolabeling on chromatographic behavior. Specifically, could incorporating several 14-Carbon molecules into a small organic chemical (anthracene, for example) change the boiling point enough to give a retention time difference vs the typical 12-Carbon molecule? Specifically I'm considering a GC ststem with a typical DB-5 type column.

thanks!

Possibly, I had partial separation between 12C-oxalic and 13C-oxalic acid derivtives. A colleague separated deuterated from non-deuterated sugar derivatives.
