We want to purchase an GC system for Natural gas analysis and we need to choose between Varian and Unicam. Does somebody have pro/con arguments for one of this prodicers ?
My address is [ihasegan@chemist.com]

You may want to consider a robust/fully configured turn-key system,
see ARNEL ENGINEERED CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEMS

I have worked with various models(HP 5880, 5890+ and 6890+) of HP GC since 1983 and I find that Natural Gas Analysers from HP are very reliable. As for other manufacturer I have no comments.

We want to separate oxygen and argon by head-space GC. Can anyone suggest a method? Please give me reference.

If you are interested in purchasing a NGA analyzer you shouls consider companies like wasson-ece or analytical controls inc.
These companies are partners from HP and they are specialized in the petroleum and natural gas industrie. They sell all their products as a turn-key solution and they also guarantee the applications

If you want a proven and repeatable Natural Gas System, then you should consider one of the Arnel Models before buying a system.
