I am trying to obtain a good internal standard for quantitative analyse of two pyridines, 2amino4methyl pyridine and 2amino4carboxylic acid. I have tryed many related compounds including 2 and 3 (amino-methyl)pyridine, 2,3/2,6/and3,4 Diamino pyridine, 3 and 4 amino pyridine, etc. In all cases DAD results are good showing 1 peak for each analyte, however Mass spec peaks degrade and show multiple peaks for last eluting analyte. Does anyone know of any other standards I could try that might not show multiple peaks in the MS?

what about deuterated versions of your analytes?
