Hi,
I use an LC-Ion Trap MS for my research work at my university. To Calibrate the ion-trap we use stadards composed of Caffeiene, Reserpine and Astemizole - which has a high m/z limit of 609 only! We are looking for standards that might extned the range upto 1500. Can anyone specify any other analyte that might suit our needs.
Thanking you people in anticipation
Rajesh

If you are searching a tuning solution, but I'm not sure that this is your problem, a possibility is to look at Agilent calibration tune solution with range masses of about 100-2100 Da.
I believe that all companies involved in MS instruments have similar products to tune the mass spectrometers.

You could try the following mixture of polyethyline glycols:
PEG200, PEG400, PEG600, PEG1000, PEG1450
In 50/50 MeCN : 2mmol ammonium acetate
Use in low µg/ml concentrations because this stuff is 'sticky' so hangs around a bit.
This will cover a m/z range between 80 & 2000Da.
