Hi,
Recently, we bought a GCMS for determination of PCBs in mineral insulating oils. I managed to find an article (published by internationl electrotechnical commision IEC in 1989) mentioning about determination of PCBS using packed column GC using ECD. I realized that the method might not be suitable to use as we have better sensivity and resolution instrument right now. The question is where to get the standard method which already established for determine PCBS in mineral insulating oils by GCMSD??

Look at GC Forum for Jan 5 2003 - many suggestions
there including ASTM method for PCB's in mineral
oil.
