I've been assigned to write, execute and document Installation, Operation and Performance Qualifications to a few HP5890/HP5971A GC/MS's. I have experience performing these qualifications with GC/FID, but since I am learning about mass spectrometry, I'm not sure how to qualify a MS. In the mean time I've been searching the web for information, suggestions and templates. Does someone know of any literature that can help?

Have you contacted Agilent directly or look on their WEB site www.agilent.com? I'm sure they can help you with that.
