Has anyone tried using 1 mL or 2 mL plasma to do protein precipitation for small molecule LC-MS/MS analysis? (I know SPE could work, but just curious what is the maximum plasma volume that can used for protein precipitation).

The maximum volume would depend on your vessels in the lab. We have used 1000 mL of plasma or cerebrospinal fluid, precipitated proteins, etc., etc., and did LC then MS (notLC/MS).
