I will have to buy a LC/MS-MS system for bioequivalence study and I would like to know if any of you has experience in one or more of these brands: Varian (1200), Applied Biosystems (API 3000) and Micromass (Quattro Micro Tandem), concerning to rudgeness, precision, sensibility and maintenance.
Thank you.

I've used an API-3000 and believe it is a fine instrument, but haven't used those other two brands so can't offer a comparison. Precision was usually about 5% RSD at the mid-level of the quant range (within-day), but this would depend on the method. Ruggedness will depend on how well you developed the method. Sensitivity will depend on the compound and method.
