Dear All,

We have observed [M+1], [M + 23] and [M+45]for one of our samples in LCMS. Is the formation of Disodium adduct is possible?

Advance thanks

Yes, but if you put only 2 Na+ on there, your ion would be doubly charged, so you'd get (M+46)/2.

If your compound has an acidic functionality as well, you could have (M+2Na-H)+ or (M+45). I'm not sure if I've ever seen this particular one, but have seen combinations of adducts and losses. You should consider it along with other possibilities.
