If U have an experience with LC-MS and bioanalytical samples (plasma), I'd like to read your recommendation on purchasing a new instrument for this purpose, for a contract laboratory.

What you buy depends on what you want to do. I would suggest purchasing the book "A Global View of LC/MS" by Willoughby,Sheehan, and Mitrovich. It gives a good overview of LC/MS and offers flowcharts and worksheets to help the reader determine the kind of tool they need. After you decide what kind of tool you need, then ask your question(s) again. Features, benifits, and brand preference can then be discussed.
