Can anybody tell me to what fragment is due the peak mass 121 in the spectra of phosalone and what is the mechanism that leads to it?

To simplify I would suggest looking at CAS 298-06-6. Try to work out the 121 ion here, also notice how both molecules give 121 and 125 at similar relative ratio's.
