I am trying to write a very short (couple of hours) overview of chromatography for people with very little science background. Does anyone have any slides or pictures that I can incorporate into the lecture which diagram the packing material for a colum (support with stationary phase, size exclusion, capillary column). I appreciate any help.

Check out the link to LC Resources Inc. on this page. Got to Resources>Useful Links and look at the work "Basic Liquid Chromatography" by Dr. Kazakevich. I haven't read the whole thing yet but it appears relatively thorough and easy to understand.
