I'm a high school student in Portland, OR. I'm currently underway on a chromatography lab in my chemistry class. I need to answer this question:

Name two other types of chromatography used by scientists other than paper chromatography.

Hint: read through a bunch of the messages on this forum, or click on the link to LC/GC magazine on the upper left and read through some of their site. That should yield an answer.

There's GC - Gas Chromatography, CEC - Capillary Electrochromatography, CE - Capillary Electrophoresis, MS - Mass Spectroscopy, TLC - Thin Layer Chromatography to name but a few.

The question is should I really be telling you this ? It's part of your course to undertake literature searches - something you are obviously not willing to do judging by the number of requests about paper chromatography you have made.

I know how you feel, buddy. I'm having trouble too. Paper chromatography is one. That's all I know! I was wonderin? What is there to do in Oregon? Isn't it just hills and lakes and stuff? It seems like you could have more fun if you just went to California. Oh well, good luck!
