Normal phase separation of reaction products Glutaraldehyde and dipeptides (with lysine included.) Reaction products may include polymer of glutaraldehyde, aldol condensation products and Schiff bases.
Problem is mobile phase composition.to date I got the best separation with 35:35:30 petrol: pentane: acetonitrile but I suspect complete separation not occuring. Has anyone please got any suggestions or details of further info I could use.
I have been told about the triangle for TLC solvents but nothing in detail. Does anyone know about this?
