Training:
Introduction to Peptide and Protein
Analysis with Mass Spectrometry
What
does it cover?
Computer-based training (CBT) is becoming increasingly important in
busy laboratories. Students can learn at their own pace and on their
own schedule with no travel costs or lost work days. Fred Klink has
developed just such a computer-based training program to familiarize
scientists and technicians with the use of mass spectrometry in the
important field of peptide and protein analysis. The program covers all
the fundamentals needed to get started using MS for proteins: molecular
weight determination, mass-mapping, sequence determination with MS/MS,
investigation of post-translational modification, and differential
expression analysis.
The program was developed in conjunction with Academy SAVANT, an
industry leader in computer-based training for chemistry professionals.
