Hi:
Do someone have experience with the Michrom rp C30 columns? Any application on small biomolecules?
Thanks
Vladimir

I do not have any but I plan to get some experience onthis column. I have a separation usually performed on a C18 column, however even with a 98 % aqueous buffer ratio in my mobile phase, the retention of some compounds is not sufficient. So I suppose using a C 30 column will help me to increase the retention of these compounds. Do you have any advice to give me in that concern ?

If you do not have enough retention with 98% buffer, why don't you go to 100%? If you are afraid about the hydrophobic collapse thing, you could use either as column without endcapping or a column with an embedded polar group.
