I seem to remember this question coming up before but would appreciate your thoughts nonetheless.
To prevent algae formation in water there is an additive which can be used which does not change the selectivity of the mobile phase (sodium azide, ethylene glycol?.) Does anyone have any experience with using an additive to prevent the cell in a pH electrode from collecting algae? If so what is it and what is the ideal concentration.
Many thanks for your help
