What is the simplest way to prep solid samples for amino acid tests by HPLC. I have a Waters Module 1, variable wavelength UV detector. I would have to do derivitization (pre-analysis)some sort.

What exactly is your question? Do you have a pure sample of a protein you wish to digest for total amino acid analysis? Are you looking for an amino acid derivatization method?

yes to both. Sample would probably be aninmal feed of some sort. I'm looking more for a good prep method more than an analysis method. Thanks for asking
