I would like to know if there is any test for cheking the performance of an on line degasser based on polimer material under vacuum.

The test I use to check that the in-line degasser is working correctly is to intoduce a air bubble 1 or 2 cm long into the inlet. If the bubble has not appeared in the outlet from the degasser in a few minutes (at 1 ml/min) the the degasser is operating correctly.
Another way is to make to small lenght of tube \. Fit them to the inlet and outlet of the degasser and place the other ends into a beaker of water. Within a few minutes the water should be "sucked" along the tubes.
