Does anyone know the approximate detection limit for the TLC spray reagent Dragendorff?

According to my experience, the LOD for spots obtained after treatment with Dragendorff reagent (pay attention there is more then one type of Dragendorff reagent)in TLC is strongly effected by the nature of analyte.

Depending upon the analyte visualized, assuming your spots have been spotted and the plate dried an appropriate amount of time and no interfering mobile phase components are present, 0.1 µL spot of a 1mg/mL solution should be detected.
