Hi,

We have a software in the lab called "Pallas" that can calculate the theorical pKa values (works well in general). If you can send me the structure I could send you the pKa value. You can send the stucture by e-mail as attached ISIS chrom file. If that can't be done you can contact me and I'll give you a Fax number to send the molecule designed.

If the compound is at least a little water soluble you can titrate a dilute solution of the compound in water with NaOH and follow the titration with a carefully calibrated pH probe. the pH measured at half neutralization will approximate the thermodynamic pKa of the compound. If you know the compound is quite pure, you can simply mix 1/2 an equivalent of base with the compound in water and measure the pH, which will approximate the pKa.
