I have a question for analytical chemists fond of statistics...
The guidelines require a certain number of analysis to evaluate precision, accuracy, etc.
Let's say I have to perform 6 analysis to assess precision. What if my method gives a result as average value of three independent analysis? Should I perform 6 x 3 =18 analysis, and measure precision as standard deviation of the 6 averages?
What's your opinion?
