Can anyone tell me what kind of spe cartridges I can use for peptide desalting. This is for preparative work. I have large sample sizes (500mg-1000mg) full of salt. I need reverse phase c18. I am looking for quicker methods than gel filtration. How much can I load on these cartridges??? my volumes are in a range of 2-10mL per injection and a loading capacity on my hplc column of around 100mg per injection (salt-free) or 25 mg with salt. (on average and on good days haha) I hope someone can help me!!!

I have heard of people using flash columns for desalting large samples of protein mixture. Typically a C18 column is used. You could also do an online desalting with a C18 column (preparative scale). I am sure one of the column manufactures like Phenomenex or BioTage could help you with this project.
