I have been using chromolith for three months now, and it stil works OK (no changes in plate numbers, presure drop or selectivity). The only "special treatment" I'm giving to this column, is strict use of precolumn in-line filter, because if it gets cloged you cannot fix it.
Of course, you need a HPLC system, capable of flow rates between 5 and 10 ml/min.
