Does anyone test for Neo Heliopan Hydro as an active ingredient using HPLC??? We're having problems with it crystalizing out in organic solvents. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

OK, Mag, I can tell you what we've used for HPLC assay of phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid. 10 cm 5 5 micron RP-18 column coupled with 3 cm 5 micron RP-18 guard column Mobile phase A = 4% acetic acid in HPLC H2O
Mobile phase B = HPLC methanol
% B Mobile phase = 20
Mobile phase flow rate = 1.00 ml/min. for 4.6 mm i.d. columns, 0.25 ml/min. for 2.1 mm i.d. columns
Wavelength = 303 nm
With these conditions, PBSA eluted at about 3 minutes. Samples and standard were made up in methanol-water-ammonium hydroxide solution. E-mail me and I can send a Word document of our 1993 test method, as this would not be considered proprietary.
