I currently assay chloride, dextrose, and acetic acid by HPLC (uv detection, 190 and 200 nm,
0.01 N H2SO4 mobile phase)...takes about 15 minutes per sample. Can anyone suggest a robust, reproducible column that will do the job faster and give me better resolution between the HUGE tailing chloride peak (high salt matrix) and the dextrose peak. The method we currently use is six years old and with all the new advances in columns, there must be something better out there.

What column do you currently use?
