The British Pharmacopeia 2000 (p1907)uses the following method for Docusate capsules (which contain DSS)

Column: C18 4.6mm x 150mm 5um

Mobile Phase: 30% 0.005M tetrabutylammonium phosphate in water and 70% Acetonitrile

Flow Rate: 1.5mL/min

UV Detection wavelength: 214nm

Hope this helps
