hi,
on an autosampler i have injected a precipitated serum-sample. after this injection i see a big hump in my chromatograms. i have replaced column/precolumn so i think the contamination is in the autosampler. i have injected a lot of blanks (ca. 20) but the hump is still big. how do i clean the autosampler? it is a waters 717.
thanks i.a.

Make sure you have an appropriote solvent in the needle wash bottle. Make sure the bottle is full. Make certain the green line is the bottle. Make sure the needle wash pump is correctly primed. Do a purge on the 717 once in a while.
