How do go about learning to set up PDA software for match angles etc?. I have a Waters 996 and Millennium Software and a couple of next to useless manuals. Is a good source of information - i.e. on-line tutorial that covers this aspect of
chromatography?

As far as I know, no on-line users tutorials exist for PDA training. Your best bet is to work through the Millennium32/PDA getting started guide. Then, register yourself for a PDA course through Waters. You might also try talking to your sales rep, or service rep, or local technical specialist and see what info they can give you.

If you are registered for the Elite Support Center you can probably find some useful information on the Waters Webpage. Try to search for 996 PDA, as far as I can remember there is a quite good explanation on the theme "Purity Check" concerning the used algorythm, the explanation of purity angle, solvent angle and so on.
