I have done the linearity study of drug along with its related sutances.
Based on the data of the linearity can I calculated the slope(to be used for relative response factors of the related substances) of the main component from 120% of the specification level to predicted LOQ value without necessarily performing the precision at the LOQ level.

Do we necessarily need to determine the LOQ the of the main analyte in the analysis of the related substances of a drug.

LOQ of the main compound is also used to estimate LOQ of unknown impurities which may be present, so it's worthwhile to measure it.
