I recently attended a HP/MacMod "Open Forum" where they also introduced a new hybrid particle that makes claims of similar pH range. I remember them showing a mixture of cough syrup run at pH 11. Looked GREAT, but I can't remember the name of the columns right now... will check at work and repost when I find it.
(And I DON'T work for HP OR MacMod :))
