Hi everybody,

I'm a student achieving a training period.
Working specifically on project involving HPLC technic, I would like to determine phospholipids present in chocolate.
My goal is actualy to separate PA,PC,PE,PI + the 4 Lyso-compounds associated and PG + PS
In the lab we have already an ELSD detector and some Silica, Diol columns.

well I would be very grateful if somebody has any information or advise for my work.

Many thanks in advance for your help

Guillaume

you may want to try the following journal:
Rapid comm. in mass spect vol 10, 775-780 (1996)
they use ms but i would think that your elsd should be able to handle it. you could also get away with looking at the UV of 210 nm. you should be able to look at the double bonds without solvent interference (not sure about triehlyamine though)
