i dont know the process or ur stavudine,but i worked with stavudine.its a very polar compound,and u just try with water and methanol as isocratic or gradient depending on ur application.if ur using buffer insdtead of water there is no change in retention of stavudine and other its related substances(in my process),iam woking with inertsil ODS 3v 250x4.6

it is soluble in water ,so longer retenction in
normal phase.u just try with water and methanol.
other wise tell the structures of ur relatedsubstances i will suggest method-ravi
