We have several old HPLC systems equipped with Alltech 530 column heaters. The column heaters are beginning to fail after years of use. I am looking for recomendations as to what brand of column heaters people like.
We typically run at 25 to 40 degrees, 300 mm columns, analytical scale. The lab stays a fairly constant 20 C.
We are looking for something easy to use, reliable, and small (our lab cramped). Any comments good or bad would be welcome.

We've also gotten good results from the Eldex units:

and from Jones Chromatography:

Metachem sells a great small column heater. We've had two of them for about 3 years without a problem. MetaTherm Heater, $995
