I have just received a thread which originated on a conputer validation discussion group that Agilent ChemStation does not calculate USP system suitability information correctly. Can anyone confirm this - especially if you know of citations from FDA/MCA, etc. about it.

the way to check this is to run system suitability standards and then compare calculations performed by hand with the calculations performed by the software. They should be "equivalent." This should probably have been done as part of the qualification of your software.
